Blister packs have become widely popular within the pharmaceutical industry as they make taking medication easier for patients. Blister packs may even come equipped with foil backing, which indicates dosing amounts.

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the go-to material for blister pack web formation. PVC’s ease of manipulation during thermoforming makes it the superior choice, while its low cost makes it economical. HDPE does not release harmful chemicals like bisphenol-a (BPA) into food or water, yet it can absorb smells and stains over time. If choosing HDPE as your pill bottle material, wash it frequently and thoroughly to preserve its lifespan.
